Ancient eurekatent cultures in Africa revered the giraffe, as some modern cultures do today, and commonly depicted it in prehistoric eurekatent rock and cave paintings. In some areas, livestock predation remains a severe problem.

Lions may hunt at any hour, but they typically go after large prey at night.
